What is Henry J Socks?
Henry J Socks is an awesome subscription company, we send high quality socks and boxers to your door every month. All the socks/boxers are bright and funky and perfect for everyday use.
What are Henry J Socks made of?
Our socks are made from 80% luxurious combed Cotton, 17% Polyamide and 3% Elastane. Designed in the UK and made in Europe.
Are your socks for men or women?
Our socks may be targeted towards the modern gentleman, but ladies please feel free to wear them too as they are unisex! We will be bringing out a personal ladies range very soon, so watch out!
What sizes do you stock?
Socks: Average (6-10) and Large(11-16)
Boxers:Small (30-32 inches), Medium (32-34 inches), large (34-36 inches) and X-Large (36-38 inches)
I need to buy a subscription!
All you need to do is go to the subscription page of the website, select a subscription that takes your fancy and then decide whether ‘THEY’RE A GIFT’ or ‘THEY’RE FOR ME’ and follow the steps from there. It’s as easy as that!
When do I pay?
There are 3 ways in which you can pay for your subscription,
- Monthly- payment taken each month for your socks/boxers
- Quarterly- This can only be done on 6 and 12-month subscriptions.
- Pay in Full- You make a single, full payment and that’s it.
We offer Paypal and Stripe to complete your transactions.
How does the subscription work?
All you need to do is choose a subscription, checkout and we will do the rest of the work. We will deliver your socks and boxers straight to your door for the duration of your subscription.
Can I choose when my subscription starts?
Yes, you can select a date for the subscription to start within a one month period of the date of ordering.
When is the first pair of socks or boxers sent?
They are sent out for next day delivery if ordered before 3:00pm except for on Saturdays and Sundays. If you select a specific date when ordering your first pair will be delivered on the date requested.
When are the subscriptions delivered each month?
The monthly subscriptions are sent out between the 20th and 25th of each month after your first pair.
Who delivers my socks?
We currently use Royal Mail to deliver our socks, and all of our parcels can fit through any standard letter box, so no need to wait in!
Can I choose my sock design each month?
Unfortunately, you cannot pick the socks you want to receive, We update our sock range every 3-6 months so we cannot guarantee we will have what you see on social media.
Can I change my address?
Yes, all you need to do is log into your account and you are able to change the address on your account settings.
Can the first pair be sent to me and then the rest to the recipient of the gift?
For Sure! All you need to do is place the order, then send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know. We are hoping to update this soon to make the process quicker for customers.
Will the recipient receive a gift card?
Yes, we send a gift card with every order in the first box explaining the length of the subscription. Don’t forget to leave a gift message when ordering so we can pop this inside.
Do you post the receipt with the socks?
No receipt will be enclosed in the packaging. We’ll email you confirmation of your order with your order number.
Can I download a gift certificate?
It doesn’t matter how late you order your gift as there is still time to download a gift certificate while you wait for your socks to arrive. Please send us an email at email@example.com and we will send one to you.
What if I don’t like the socks in my subscription?
That is not a problem, all you need to do is send the socks you don’t like back to us by writing return to sender on the box and please send us an email. We will then get you a new pair sent out straight away that you are bound to love!

Can I get socks and boxers delivered at the same time?
Yes! All you need to do is select ‘SOCKS & BOXERS’ on the subscription page, and they will both be delivered to your door in the same package.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship worldwide. The furthest place we ship to is New Zealand! There is an extra charge of £3.50 for every delivery.
Can I get more than 1 pair of socks each month?
You can choose from 1,2 or 3 pairs of socks to be delivered each month.

I have a hole in my socks! 🙁 What should I do?
Oh No! That should not have happened! Our socks are made to a very high standard and we spend a lot of time with quality checks. Unfortunately, one or two faulty pairs may slip past us. But not to worry, if you send us an email letting us know we will get a fresh new pair sent out to you straight away with our sincerest apologies.
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription, simply log into your account and click “cancel subscription” and you will receive an email to confirm your cancellation.
My monthly payment failed, what should I do?
Your payment may have failed if you have just received a new bank card, but it’s not a problem. If you paid with PayPal, log onto your PayPal account and change your card details. If you have paid with Stripe:
- Log into your account page
- ‘View’ the relevant subscription
- Click ‘change payment’
- Choose a payment method
- Now, if you select stripe an option to add a new card will be given.
I think my socks have been lost in the post, what should I do?
We’re sorry to keep you waiting! Please go to our contact page and let us know. We will get a new pair sent out to you straight away.

The best way to discuss a bulk order would be to send us an email (email@example.com) letting us know what you are after and we will be in touch. 10 or more subscriptions are classed as a bulk order.

Add your subscription to your basket and proceed to checkout. On the billing page, ‘click here to enter your coupon code’ in the green bar at the top of the page.
